Characters:

1. White powder with toxicity;

2. Insoluble to water or alcohol;

3. With hygroscopicity in air and without sulfide pollution;

4. Dissoluble to benzene, toluene and some other non-polar solvant;

5. It will dissolve and generate stearate acid and relative barium salts while mixed with strong acids.

6. The heat resistance of barium stearate is the best during all the alkaline metal stearate.

 

Applications:

1. Mainly used for varioius transparent soft film, sheet, artificial leather, hard panel and tubes, etc.

2. Also can be used as high temperature releasing agent and high temperature lubricant for machines.
